You will experience a warming and prickly sensation caused by the emission of the laser with mild thermal pulses. Which in turn encourages blood circulation (immediately after the session) in latent hair follicles to reduce inflammation in the hair follicle and support hair regrowth.
It is normal to experience a tingling sensation on the scalp which will usually dissipate after a couple of hours.
There is little to no pre treatment preparation. We recommend you to wash your hair in the morning (of the date of appointment) and avoid wearing any hair products on the day of appointment.
It is unlikely that you will suffer side effects from this laser treatment.
It is normal that your scalp will appear a little blushed and feel a little swollen after the session. This will dissipate after a couple of hours.
It is also normal to feel a little itchy sensation on your scalp as the energy emitted by the laser aids with improving the blood circulation and delivery of oxygen to the epidermis layer of the scalp. Do not attempt to scratch.
You may resume your regular daily activity immediately after the session. Please avoid prolonged exposure under the sunlight as the UVB/UVA may trigger sensitivity reactions on your scalp. Avoid vigorous exercises in the next 24 hours. Avoid wearing tight fitting head accessories in the next 24 hours.
It is common to experience redness on your scalp or tingling and itchy sensation after the session. This is due to the increase in oxygen delivery to the follicles through increased blood circulation. The redness will dissipate within
The treatment does not involve topical application prescriptive medicated products.
Only a medical grade disinfectant with antimicrobial properties will be used to cleanse the scalp surface before the laser treatment.
