You will be given a detailed pre-treatment consultation with in-depth scalp scan analysis with the doctor and consultant to determine the targeted area.
The treatment will be performed by the medical doctor using a laser beam that is being administered directly to the scalp to aid the stimulation of hair follicles directly from the root.
You will experience a warming and prickly sensation caused by the emission of the laser with mild thermal pulses. Which in turn encourages blood circulation (immediately after the session) in latent hair follicles to reduce inflammation in the hair follicle and support hair regrowth.
It is normal to experience a tingling sensation on the scalp which will usually dissipate after a couple of hours.
Is there any preparation before my appointment?
There is little to no pre treatment preparation. We recommend you to wash your hair in the morning (of the date of appointment) and avoid wearing any hair products on the day of appointment.
You may resume your regular daily activity immediately after the session. Please avoid prolonged exposure under the sunlight as the UVB/UVA may trigger sensitivity reactions on your scalp. Avoid vigorous exercises in the next 24 hours. Avoid wearing tight fitting head accessories in the next 24 hours.
It is common to experience redness on your scalp or tingling and itchy sensation after the session. This is due to the increase in oxygen delivery to the follicles through increase blood circulation. The redness will dissipate within a few hours.
The treatment does not involve topical application prescriptive medicated products.
Only a medical grade disinfectant with antimicrobial properties will be used to cleanse the scalp surface before the laser treatment.
Our doctor will be able to issue prescriptive oral or topical medication upon detailed consultation and understanding of your past/current medical condition.
Minoxidil is a common medication used for the treatment of hair loss. It is effective* in helping promote hair growth in people with androgenic alopecia for both male and female.
*Individual results vary. Minoxidil must be used indefinitely for continued support of existing hair follicles and the maintenance of any experienced hair regrowth. Prescriptive medication must be issued by a MOH certified Medical Doctor and dispensed from licensed establishments.
